Hamidreza Mahyar is a Research Scholar at Boston University (BU) under supervision of Prof. Eugene Stanley. He was Postdoctoral Research Fellow, working on SemI40 and iDev40 projects for Infineon Technologies, at Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien), Austria. Hamidreza received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering at Sharif University of Technology (SUT) in February 2018. He has been visiting research scholars at Max Planck Institute for Software Systems (MPI-SWS), and TU Wien, working on Machine Learning over Graphs. Hamidreza has been the head of Compressive Sensing over Networks (CSN) and also Social Recommender Systems (SRS) groups at SUT and TU Wien. In addition to his research experience, he has also eleven years of experience in teaching as an instructor and supervision of more than twenty students. Hamidreza has been working for twelve years in various projects and enterprise companies. He is now Co-founder and CEO of Assister.Ai, an AI-empowered Software Assistant startup, in Toronto, Canada. His research interests lie in the area of Machine Learning, Deep Neural Networks, Social Network Analysis and Mining, Recommender Systems, Representation Learning, Natural Language Processing.
